Following several years of birds' observation and also very fascinated with the Canadian and American folk art, I decided in 1984, to start carving North American birds particularly birds on the shore. All the birds are designed, then carved and handpainted. Each bird is, of course, unique. The carved birds are not the absolute replica as to size and specific details. Nevertheless, you will appreciate the bird for its colorful silhouette as well as its posture. Although, some of the birds are creatively stylized, rest assured that the final outcome is very harmonious. Since 1992, I have added rooster specimen to the collection.
